Direct split, sectional and jumbo warping machines
Milan Textiles Machinery Division in Surat, India makes warping and beaming machines for weaving and knitting mills. Our ML-758 direct split warping machine was designed and built in India. It takes mother yarn bobbins and splits the yarn straight onto the weaving beam, so there is no separate split yarn cops step.

How direct split warping works
Traditional mono yarn beam making splits the mother yarn onto cops first, then warps those cops on a sectional machine. Each extra step adds knots, yarn waste and labour.
A direct split warping machine takes the mother yarn bobbin, splits it into individual mono yarns and winds them straight onto the beam. Our machines hold yarn tension within +/- 1 gram across the split zone and are used with polyester and nylon mono yarn of 200 to 500D mother yarn.
The ML-758 makes jumbo beams on a master pipe. These go to the ML-416 beaming machine, which builds the weaver's beam of up to 24000 ends. The ML-358 does the same direct split work for knitting beams.
Frequently asked questions
What is a direct split warping machine?
It is a warping machine that splits mother yarn bobbins directly into single mono yarns and winds them onto a beam. It skips the step of making split yarn cops first, so the beam has fewer knots and less yarn is wasted.
What is the difference between the ML-758 and the ML-1000W?
The ML-758 is a direct split warping machine for jumbo and weaving beams, with speed up to 600 mpm. The ML-1000W is a direct sectional warping machine for weaving beams, with speed up to 500 mpm and working widths from 2300 to 4000 mm.
Which yarns can the machines run?
Mono yarn in polyester and nylon, made from 200 to 500D mother yarn. The ML-250 leasing device is proven on 20D mono filament yarn.
Do you have a machine for knitting beams?
Yes. The ML-358 is a direct split warping machine for knitting beams. It runs up to 700 mpm with a creel of 56 to 80 positions and beam sizes of 21 x 21 and 21 x 30 inch.
Can I get a brochure in Turkish or Vietnamese?
Yes. Turkish and Vietnamese brochures are available for the ML-758, ML-416 and ML-250, and Turkish for the ML-1000W. Use the Turkish or Vietnamese page, or write to us.
How do I get a quotation?
Send us your yarn type, beam size and monthly production target by WhatsApp, email or the contact form. We reply with the right model and a quotation.
